Bond no. 9 has launched Harrods Oud Patchouli, the latest in their series of department store exclusives:

For its latest Harrods exclusive, Bond No. 9 revisits that Eastern world mainstay, oud, doubling up on its intense exoticism by pairing it with equally sensual patchouli. The result? Harrods Oud Patchouli – thinking outside the perfume box.

Bond no. 9 I Love New York for Fathers, I Love New York for Marriage Equality new perfume

Niche line Bond no. 9 launched I Love New York for Fathers in June and I Love New York for Marriage Equality in July. They are the sixth and seventh fragrances respectively in the I Love New York series created in collaboration with the state tourism agency of the same name.

Bond no. 9 I Love New York for Mothers new perfume

In May, Bond no. 9 launched I Love New York for Mothers, the fifth fragrance in the I Love New York series (see prior launches I Love New York for Her, I Love New York for Him, I Love New York for All and I Love New York for Earth Day).

I LOVE NEW YORK for Mothers is a soft yet focused freesia-laden floral. Gentle freesia, in fact, is one of its introductory top notes, partnered with tangy, wakeup tangerine. Then comes the simultaneously enticing and soothing heart of the scent: heady, tropical jasmine sambac, blended with enchanting lily. The deeper, darker base notes, which sustain the allover fragrance, are those classics—amber, musk, and sandalwood.

Bond no. 9 I Love New York for Earth Day new perfume

In April, Bond no. launched the fourth fragrance in the I Love New York series (see prior launches I Love New York for Her, I Love New York for Him and I Love New York for All). The new fragrance, I Love New York for Earth Day, celebrates the Earth Day holiday, to be held this year on April 22, and is described as “fresh, green, metro-sophisticated”.

Like the environmental movement itself, I LOVE NEW YORK for Earth Day is rich in youthful vivaciousness and hope. And like New York, this lush green tuberose is also sophisticated and assured. Its wakeup opening notes, sprightly tangerine and orange flower water, blended with more tropical orchid, segue into the heart of the scent: a stunning floral composed of intoxicating tuberose, lily of the valley, and orris. Base notes of durable musk, amber, oakmoss, and sandalwood sustain this heady bouquet.

Van Cleef & Arpels Aqua Oriens new perfume

Van Cleef & Arpels will launch Aqua Oriens in April. The new limited edition fragrance for women is a flanker to 2010′s Oriens, and hopes to “evoke a dip in a Tahitian lagoon”.
Aqua Oriens was developed by perfumer Nathalie Feisthauer; notes include pear, lime, honeysuckle, orange blossom, musk and amber.
Van Cleef & Arpels Aqua Oriens will be available in 50 ml Eau de Toilette.

Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb new perfume

Viktor & Rolf just released Spicebomb, its second men’s fragrance, Spicebomb includes fragrance notes of bergamot, elemi, grapefruit, pink pepper, cinnamon, vetiver, tobacco accord, chili, saffron and leather. Spicebomb opens with sharp (cool) citrus, almost pine-y, tinged with pepper. Immediately the fragrance “warms” to reveal a streamlined and well-blended progression of non-gourmand cinnamon (to my nose, included in the perfect amount), delicate saffron-leather and tobacco notes. Spicebomb’s tobacco (somewhat like the tobacco in Serge Lutens Fumerie Turque) is ample, diffuse and elegant; it comes to the fore accompanied by a spark of chili. As Spicebomb enters its final phase, the tobacco note is sweetened (with tonka bean?).

Vera Wang Princess Night, new perfume

Vera Wang Princess Night is available in 50 or 100 ml Eau de Toilette. The notes include wild berries, watermelon, raspberry, jasmine, orange blossom, plumeria, rose, sugar, creamy woods, musk and vanilla.

Lacoste Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Rouge / Red new perfume

Lacoste will launch Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Rouge / Red, a new addition to the Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 collection. The new fragrance for men is meant to evoke the energy and vitality of the brand’s red alligator polo shirts.
Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Rouge / Red is a spicy woods fragrance; the notes include ginger, cardamom, black pepper, acacia wood, benzoin and rooibos tea.
Lacoste Eau de Lacoste L.12.12 Rouge / Red will be available in 30 and 100 ml Eau de Toilette.

David Yurman Summer Essence, new perfume

David Yurman has launched David Yurman Summer Essence, a new limited edition fragrance for women:

Coach has launched the 2012 version of their Coach Summer Edition fragrance (you can see the 2011 edition here, or the original Coach fragrance here):

Justin Bieber has launched Girlfriend, a new perfume for women. Girlfriend follows last year’s debut, Someday.

Justin’s new fragrance draws you in with an exciting splash of crisp mandarin and juicy blackberry. From there, things heat up with exotic floral notes of pink freesia and star jasmine, before striking a flame in your heart with warm vanilla orchid and sultry musk.
